瑞傳科技為工業電腦的技術創新領導者，宣佈推出 PICMG 1.0 單版電腦新產品ROBO-8779VG2AR，以英特爾Core™ 2 Quad / Core™ 2 Duo / Celeron® 處理器為基礎，支援DDR3 SDRAM、VGA、DVI、雙千兆乙太網路、Audio及USB。

RORB-8779VG2AR提供彈性的1333/1066/800 MHz FSB選擇，兩個240-pin DIMM插槽支援DDR3 SDRAM系統記憶體，容量最大可達4GB；整合英特爾GMA X4500繪圖引擎、雙顯示VGA及DVI-D界面(另有SDVO介面提供其它顯示規格)；支援英特爾G41高速晶片組，PCI-E x1介面之雙千兆乙太網路、一個經由IDE介面之Compact Flash插槽、高頻寬I/O和其餘豐富之I/O連接例如FDD、序列埠、並列埠、USB2.0及SATA埠。

RORB-8779VG2AR offers a flexible FSB selection of 1333/1066/800 MHz, up to 4GB DDR3 SDRAM on two 240-pin DIMM sockets, support for Intel® G41 Express Chipset integrated with Intel's GMA X4500 graphic engine, dual display VGA and DVI-D interface (SDVO for other display types), dual Gigabit Ethernet based on PCI-E x1, one Compact Flash socket via IDE, high bandndndwidth I/O and other rich I/O connections such as FDD, serial ports, parallel port, USB 2.0 and SATA ports.

“The new ROBO-8779VG2AR offers great computing performance because it is powered by up to four pes VP of Portwell, stressed that longevity and legacy support are two of the most important factors for customers in the PICMG 1.0 marketplace. “The dilemma has been that users want the latest CPU to increase productivity, yet they need all of their legacy components to continue to function without fault,” Martee explains. “Normally, the latest and greatest processors are often not backwards compatible and leave legacy systems gathering dust. That's something that Portwell does not condone.”
