Candles filtration are long slot tube swith a small diameter, colsed at the bottom side and having a connection part at the top side.The filtration direction is from out to in.Typical slot opening is 70u.

A lot of candles are placed vertically in a vessel. They are coated with a fine-grained treatment media(kieselguhr) which reduces the already small screen openings and permits reliable filtration of sub-micron size particles.

烛式硅藻土过滤机烛棒由楔形绕条与筋条焊接而成。烛棒表面形成一条连续的缝隙，从截面看缝隙呈现外窄内宽式结构。过滤方向由外向内。
1、硅藻土预涂层稳固。该烛棒拥有独特的自支撑结构，使得其能承受非常大的压力，不随压力变化发生形变，表面形成硅藻土预涂层后，涂层稳固，不会出现涂层裂纹，漏土等现象。
2、过滤精度高。烛棒的缝隙间距均匀，能有效拦截硅藻土，快速形成均匀的预涂层。
3、不易堵塞，易于反冲洗。外窄内宽的缝隙结构使得滤芯具有“自洁”功能，杂质不会被卡住，烛棒表面非常光滑，无任何残留物的死角，反冲洗过程更彻底，清洗效果最为理想。
4、渗流速度小。相比其他滤芯，液体在经过烛棒时流速更小，压降小，更稳定。
5、材质多样。可以根据具体的使用环境选用不同的材质，已达到耐磨、耐高温、耐腐蚀等要求。常用的材质有不锈钢304，316L，904L和哈氏合金等，客户也可以指定材质。
