Gloria Solar Co., Ltd.生耀光電成立於西元2006年8月，結合台灣汽車業裕隆集團、太陽能電池廠益通光能、智融(宏碁)集團智基創投、台灣車用天窗龍頭信昌機械等領域的領導廠商，跨足太陽能產品領域發展。2007年Gloria Solar與益通集團併購美國上游矽晶圓廠ADEMA Technologies，跨足太陽能上游矽晶佈局。並於同年成立美國太陽能系統事業，跨足下游系統整合佈局。2009年成立Gloria Solar (Europe)，致力於歐洲太陽能系統與發電設備市場之佈局。並整合成生耀光電國際控股公司Gloria Solar International Holding, Inc., (“GIH”)，顯示Gloria Solar於太陽能產業鏈垂直整合佈局的企圖。 Gloria Solar 未來將更致力於上下游垂直整合，建構太陽能產品研發設計、生產、行銷、銷售，以及系統通路的整合平台，提供太陽能產品於建材、汽車、發電設備等領域之應用。鑒於地球暖化效應，以及石油短缺，替代能源產業肯定是未來世界發展的趨勢。太陽能產業更是替代能源最具發展潛力的產業之一，為了提供人類一個純淨、自然與永續的綠色能源以及維護人類共有的地球環境，Gloria Solar生耀光電之成立正式進軍前途「發亮」的太陽能市場，朝向世界級公司邁進，期許優秀人才一起加入太陽能產業無限可能的未來。GIH is a holding company and conducts business through two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Gloria Solar and Adema Technologies.
